Paul Klee EY Exhibition

I checked out this fantastic exhibition at the Tate Modern yesterday. I've always been interested in Paul Klee's work so it was a must see. The exhibition was great. I was surprised at how small most of the painting were as I had always imagined them bigger. I took down quick sketches and notes of what inspired me whilst there.

Magma Tate & more

Today saw a visit to the Tate Modern, magma and the barbican. All proved to be worth while in terms of finding locations and what they can offer in terms of supporting my practise. The Barbicans conservatory was closed which was a slight disappointment. Magma Is now one of my go to book stores, selling a wide range of books comics magazines. I picked up 'ways of seeing' by john burger a book I look forward to reading. The Tate was brilliant as always - the enclosed painting is by Pablo Picasso. I also found a great book shop located by the Tate selling a great selection of artists books as well as theory and design.
